Anthea grew up on the far north coast of NSW, and moved to Sydney after high school, where she trained to become a Primary School Teacher. She, along with her husband and three boys, moved to Brisbane nine years ago. Realising her childhood dream of becoming a children’s author is exciting, and made all the more special by having had her brother as illustrator for her first book “Daddy’s Magic Carpet”.
